摘要: Recurrent peripheral vestibulopathy (RPV) is a public health problem, yet the aetiology remains unclear. Recent developments in MRI of endolymphatic hydrops (EH) allow for better understanding inner ear disorders. We intended to study prevalence EH patients with RPV, comparison those Meniere’s disease (MD). examinations were performed 4 hours after intravenous injection gadoteric acid 132 RPV (n = 64) and MD (n = 68). Two radiologists retrospectively studied localization groups. Patients graded based on number hydrops, between 1 (EH either cochlea or vestibule one side) 4 both ears). identified 31 out 64 61 68 groups, respectively. There was significant difference regarding subjects two groups (p ≤ 0.01), higher average group (p ≤ 0.01). may reveal some cases among suggesting similar pathophysiological mechanism MD. • recurrent vestibulopathy. suggest Disease. delayed acquisition helps clinicians assess The outcome would be aid development adapted therapeutic strategies. should probably included future diagnostic protocols.
