摘要: Introduction: Human postocclusive forearm skin reactive hyperemia is not only a potential means of identifying early signs cardiovascular diseases, it can also be used in the assessment local microvascular response to topically applied compounds on skin. The method fully characterized. In this study, we investigated influence occlusion time using laser Doppler fluximetry (LDF). Methods: Twenty healthy male volunteers were studied three separate days (at least 24 h apart) via randomized design. Volunteers supine position while fasted. Laser probes placed volar surface antebrachium. preliminary studies, 3 min upper arm blood flow at suprasystolic pressure was found limit tolerability. Subsequently, receive 1, 2, or different days. Skin flux measured before, during, and after LDF. primary outcome calculated maximal change before occlusion, expressed arbitrary units (AU). Results: changes (mean±S.E.M.) period 15.39±1.27 AU, 24.84±1.62 32.14±1.73 respectively. Using repeated-measures analysis variance (ANOVA), significant difference (P<.05) revealed between these durations, where produced significantly greater compared 1 2 occlusion. Discussion: Three minutes produces hyperemia. It recommended that studies should occlude for min.
