摘要: Following prescapular lymphadenectomy, the cellular composition of afferent (peripheral) lymph from eight out 13 calves in which and efferent lymphatic ducts had anastomosed was examined using monoclonal antibodies (mAb) specific for bovine lymphoid populations. Afferent leucocytes (ALL) consisted around 50% T lymphocytes, 35% 14% expressed BoT4 BoT8, respectively, 20-25% B lymphocytes 23% non-lymphoid cells. When populations cells were prepared ALL by adherence to gelatin-plasma-coated flasks, 81% contained alpha-napthyl acetate esterase (ANAE) 70% phagocytic, whereas non-adherent population 5% these cell types, being largely non-phagocytic negative ANAE. purification on fluorescence-activated sorter (FACS) IL-A22 (mAb detecting macrophages polymorphonuclear leucocytes, PMN), only 72% positive ANAE, 19% 84% Fc1 receptors. While depleted IL-A22+ could not proliferate presence antigen culture, addition purified monocytes peripheral blood (PBL) or IL-A22-positive macrophage-depleted PBL IL-A22-negative promoted proliferative responses antigens.
