摘要: We report the identification of a subset bovine T cells by two monoclonal antibodies (mAb), IL-A11 and IL-A12, some functional analyses these cells. Both mAb precipitate polypeptides, called BoT4, with apparent molecular mass 52 55 kilodaltons. The epitopes recognized are different, however. BoT4 is found on approximately 70% thymocytes 30% peripheral blood mononuclear (PBM), not expressed monocytes or B cells, in T-dependent areas lymph nodes. BoT4+ lymphocytes purified fluorescence-activated cell sorter proliferate response to mitogenic alloantigenic stimulation without addition exogenous growth factors, whereas BoT4- do not. Monoclonal IL-A12 have no effect mitogen- (PHA Con A) alloantigen-induced proliferation PBM. antibody has inhibitory cytolytic activity bulk populations alloreactive lymphocytes, most generated mixed leukocyte culture ascribable population. Using cloned alloantigen-specific we that ability clones stimuli factors characteristic clones, as susceptibility inhibition IL-A12. These results implicate molecule antigen recognition but indicate requirement for variable among clones. Our findings, together those companion paper, which provides evidence class II restricted, equivalent Leu3/T4+ humans analogous other species.
