摘要: In this study, we present an analysis of the average wages paid for producing direct and indirect imports nations using employment income footprints. An footprint includes a country's domestic that occurring along supply chains of, hence embodied in, its imported goods services. Our results allow us to group world's into �masters� enjoy lifestyle supported by workers in other countries �servants� support master countries. We show that, 2010, footprints differed substantially from their own workforce Hong Kong, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland occupy top-ranking positions countries, whereas many African Asian are servants. findings commodities �servant intensive,� such as electronics, agricultural products, chemicals, tend have complex often originating third-world The quantification these master-servant relationships exposing implicated could be benefit those concerned with corporate social responsibility committed fairer trading or developing policy around fair globalization.
