摘要: PGE2 has been implicated in abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) associated hypervascularization. PGE2-metabolism involves 15-hydroxyprostaglandin-dehydrogenase (15-PGDH) the expression of which AAA is unknown. The aim this study was to examine and cell distribution 15-PGDH AAA. Here, we show that mRNA levels were significantly higher aorta samples from patients undergoing repair than those healthy multiorgan donors. Consequently, ratio metabolized secreted by production total metabolites correlated positively with PGI2 production, while percentage negatively amount PGI2. Transcript statistically leukocyte markers but did not correlate microvascular endothelial markers. Immunohistochemistry revealed areas infiltration samples, mainly CD45-positive cells, normal samples. We provide new data concerning human AAA, showing upregulated expressed infiltrating leukocytes. Our suggest microvasculature involved catabolism, reinforcing potential role derived AAA-associated
