摘要: Recent studies have shown that increases in proteolytic activity are associated with abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs). We studied samples of the dilated wall, taken during corrective surgery for AAAs, terms number, type, and tissue location connective proteinases their inhibitors. Five distinct caseinolytic serine six gelatinolytic metalloproteinases were resolved by molecular weight use sodium dodecyl sulfate-substrate gel electrophoresis. Isoforms Mr 92,000 neutrophil gelatinase identified immunoprecipitation biosynthetically labeled organ culture media. About 50% total radiolabeled protein secreted AAA cultures was as 30,000 glycoprotein, inhibitor metalloproteinase (TIMP), immunoprecipitation. Both TIMP localized to vasa vasorum immunoperoxidase staining. However, interstitial collagenase could not be detected any method. These results suggest involvement maintenance possibly genesis AAAs.
