摘要: Pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PanIN) is a histologically well-defined precursor to invasive ductal adenocarcinoma of the pancreas. PanINs are remarkably common lesions, particularly in elderly population. Molecular studies have helped establish progression PanIN cancer, and recently genetically engineered mouse models been generated that recapitulate entire spectrum lesions from pancreatic cancer. Some produce lobulocentric atrophy parenchyma, and, when multifocal, this may be detectable using currently available imaging techniques such as endoscopic ultrasound. The association acinar-ductal metaplasia with has led some hypothesize develop acinar cells undergo metaplasia.
