A new surgical technique for deep lamellar keratoplasty with single running suture adjustment

摘要: Abstract Purpose: To improve the technique of deep lamellar keratoplasty. Methods: For recipient eye, a divide-and-conquer was applied to After trephinization, cornea within trephine divided into four quadrants facilitate dissection at approximately 70% depth. This procedure division continued until Descemet membrane exposed in central area. The corneal graft placed with an adjusted single running suture. Seventeen eyes were treated this technique. Results: In 17 15 patients, mean visual acuity 6 months or more after keratoplasty 20/52 eyeglass correction and 20/80 without correction. At keratoplasty, ± SD keratometric astigmatism 3.2 2.3 diopters. Conclusion: facilitates prevents high excessive surgery.
