摘要: Golden cuttlefish Sepia esculenta Hoyle is an economically important cephalopod species. However, artificial hatching currently challenged by low survival rate of larvae due to abnormal embryonic development. Dissecting the genetic foundation and regulatory mechanisms in development requires genomic background knowledge. Therefore, we carried out a transcriptome sequencing on embryos via mRNA-Seq. 32,597,241 raw reads were filtered assembled into 98,615 unigenes (N50 length at 911 bp) which annotated NR database, GO KEGG databases respectively. Digital gene expression analysis was cleavage stage embryos, healthy malformed larvae. Unigenes functioning cell proliferation exhibited higher transcriptional levels while those related animal disease organ showed increased transcription Homologs key genes pathways early animals identified Sepia. Most them exhibit than larvae, suggesting their potential roles The de novo assembly fundamental for further exploration research. Our demonstration variations three developmental stages will provide new perspectives understanding molecular cuttlefish.
