Inequalities and the Impact of Job Insecurity on Health Indicators in the Spanish Workforce

摘要: In a context of high job insecurity resulting from social deregulation policies, this research aims to study health and substance abuse inequalities in the workplace gender perspective. To end, transversal was carried out based on microdata National Health Survey Spain—2017, selecting active population calculating prevalence state consumption, according socio-occupational factors (work relationship, occupational class, time type working day). Odds ratios adjusted by socio-demographic variables their 90% confidence intervals were estimated means binary logistic regressions stratified sex. The results obtained showed two differentiated patterns consumption. On one hand, unemployed people those more vulnerable classes higher both chronic depression anxiety hypnosedative tobacco use. other better positioned reported greater work stress alcohol addition, while unemployment affected men’s intensely, women day. can be used design sustainable preventive which should at least aim improving quantity quality employment.
