摘要: Algeria has several genetic resources on olive trees, mainly made up of small indigenous cultivars, and a very important wild heritage. Twenty samples including eight cultivars twelve trees from the province Bejaia (Algeria) are characterized, by combining molecular data (13 SSRs), fruit pit morphological traits, fatty acids composition, phenolic compounds extra virgin oils (EVOOs). The results based PCoA, UPGMA, AMOVA analyses demonstrate that mixed, suggesting kinship relationships between cultivated even cases synonymy some cultivars. PCA analysis traits shows good separation two botanical varieties, producing smaller fruits than those ones. Significant differences also found in terms phenol composition EVOOs. Wild show highest contents compounds, oleocanthal, as well considerable richness oleic acid. comparison pairwise distances obtained genetic, morphological, using Mantel's test indicates significant correlation among characteristics, DNA polymorphism, compounds. present work contribute to reveal diversity existing region Bejaia, shedding light importance Algerian olives germplasm. Practical Applications: Cultivated assessed composition. SSR marker demonstrates presence high variation analyzed samples. A characteristics with polymorphism is found. observed. Kinship demonstrated markers, while parameters allow distinction taxa. for EVOOs; an interesting compared form.
