摘要: The active ingredient dl-tetrahydropalmatine (THP) isolated from the traditional Chinese herb Corydalis racemosa has been found to have antihypertensive effects. However, severe cardiac and neurological toxic effects were reported using this for treatment of pain. In an perfused rat heart model, THP at concentration 100 microM was a negative effect (-45%) on left ventricular pressure produced concentration-dependently concentrations lower than 50 microM. cardiomyocytes, radioactive calcium influx also inhibited significantly by in concentration-dependent manner (-39%). patient with latent disease, use should probably be detrimental, due inhibition.
