摘要: It has recently been suggested that goitered gazelles (Gazella subgutturosa and Gazella marica) have paraphyletic maternal origin, the mitochondrial cytochrome b gene fragment can be used for species identification prior to reintroduction of gazelles. Although there is a large geographic area where intermediate morphology, previous researchers not inferred any signs haplotype introgression, it thought if exists, male-biased. We studied haplotypes morphologically typical G. from two locations. Goitered eastern Turkey, identical subgutturosa, had marica. This finding confirms ongoing introgression marica subgutturosa. Our suggestion natural flow between these nominal species, morphological characters together with recombinant genetic markers rather than DNA should differentiate among individuals areas close contact zone.
