摘要: The purpose of this study was to summarize available information on nutrient excretion by horsesfrom as many sources possible. Values for amounts and characteristics fresh manure (fecesand urine, excreted) were obtained from published nutrition values nitrogen (N),phosphorus (P) potassium (K). Only data horses 18 months age or older used.Data separated into non-working (sedentary) working (exercised)horses. There insufficient growing horses, pregnant mares lactating toevaluate in these groups. Estimates dry matter total manurewere calculated using the National Research Council Nutrient Requirements ofHorses other sources. Equations estimating N, P, K developed fromstudies reporting intake a body weight basis. Representativevalues equations weighing400 600 kg.
