摘要: Objective: We set out to examine the effectiveness and tolerability of psychostimulants in children adolescents with pervasive developmental disorders (PDDs). Methods: Medical records all patients PDDs treated a stimulant were retrospectively reviewed. Demographics, type, drug dosage, trial duration, adverse effects recorded. Global improvement, focused on symptoms hyperactivity inattention, was measured by Clinical Impressions-Improvement scale, positive response defined rating much improved or very improved. Results: Of 195 (174 males, 21 females; mean age ± SD = 7.26 3.45 years, range 2-19 years), 61 had more than one trial, resulting total 274 separate trials.
