摘要: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small non-coding RNAs (18-22 nt) that function as modulators of gene expression. Since their discovery in 1993 C. elegans, our knowledge about biogenesis, function, and mechanism action has increased enormously, especially recent years, with the development deep-sequencing technologies. New biogenesis pathways sources miRNAs changing concept these molecules. The study miRNA contribution to pathological states is a field great interest research. Different groups have reported implication pathologies such cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular, gynecological diseases. It also well-known present biofluids (plasma, serum, urine, semen, menstrual blood) been proposed ideal candidates disease biomarkers. goal this review highlight current special emphasis role endometriosis newest investigations addressing use biomarkers for disease.
