摘要: The nucleotide and deduced amino acid sequences of the lacE lacF genes, which code for lactose-specific Enzyme II III Staphylococcus aureus phosphotransferase system, are presented. primary translation products consist a hydrophobic protein 572 acids (Mr = 62,688) polypeptide 103 11,372), respectively. assignment as gene IIIlac was based upon known sequence protein. identity encoding IIlac immunoreactivity cloned product with antibodies raised against purified from S. an assay biological function expressed in Escherichia coli. order genes lac operon is lacF-lacE-lacG, latter phospho-beta-galactosidase.
