摘要: Vascular smooth muscle cells in spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR) express angiotensin II-forming chymase (rat vascular [RVCH]), which may contribute to blood pressure regulation. In this study, we studied whether chymase-dependent II formation contributes the regulation of SHR. The systolic 16-week-old Wistar-Kyoto (WKY) was 113±9 mmHg, compared 172±3 mmHg Using synthetic substrates for measuring angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) and activities, it found that both ACE activities extracts from SHR aortas were significantly higher than those WKY rat aortas. I as a substrate, be rats, its completely suppressed by an inhibitor, but not inhibitor. RVCH mRNA expression could detected aorta either or carotid arteries isolated SHR, I-induced vasoconstriction Angiotensin pressor responses also inhibited they affected inhibitor receptor blocker showed equipotent hypotensive effects, did have effect. These results indicated regulate present study. (Hypertens Res 2005; 28: 457‐464)
