摘要: Abstract In an earlier study, we investigated the thermoluminescence (TL) properties of sand collected from sewage sludge, after various extensive cleaning procedures and irradiation gamma rays under controlled conditions in laboratory. present investigation, separated irradiated sludge was used to estimate radiation processing absorbed dose at hygienisation research irradiator (SHRI), Baroda. Although, relative TL sensitivity H 2 O - HF-treated samples 4.00% 0.07%, respectively, that LiF TLD-100, a well known phosphor dosimetry, they were quite useful for dosimetry liquid irradiator, when using calibrations inlet. A range such calibration is 0.3–4 kGy. dose-vs-TL response curve plotted 220°C glow peak inlet unirradiated batch, order corresponding batch outlet. Using this method, rate delivered during SHRI estimated be 0.70 ± 0.02 kGy per hour. The paper also reports results intercomparison samples, TLD-100 phosphor. ray doses nearly same all three systems exposure times.
