摘要: Publisher Summary The human major histocompatibility complex (MHC) or leukocyte antigen (HLA) is located on the short arm of chromosome 6. At least three classes molecules are controlled by HLA region, each functioning in a distinct way to perform immunologic tasks. class I molecules, HLA-A, -B, and -C, classic transplantation antigens. II HLA-D region antigens, composed two subunits, but unlike both subunits instrinsic membrane proteins encoded within MHC. To understand these function cellular collaboration presentation, it important elucidate assortment found surface immune response related cells. structurally DH, DQ, DP, have been isolated from single cell line. Coupled with information at DNA level, this effectively divides into subregions encoding minimum six protein chains. Based structural homology murine I-region DR antigens appear be I-E while DQ similar I-A As basic understanding complex-controlled responsiveness broadens hybridoma gene cloning technology advances, specific enhancement desired immume responses suppression deleterious ones will most likely become possible.
