摘要: The RON gene, encoding the tyrosine-kinase receptor for macrophage-stimulating protein (MSP), is involved in a range of neoplastic processes. However, no aberration or MSP has been identified Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC). We investigated signaling pathway MCC. Fourteen cases MCC were tested expression and its ligand, MSP, using reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR) immunohistochemistry. mutation was also examined. RT-PCR both all nine that available examination. Immunohistochemistry showed (9/14 cases) cases). Six out 14 positive MSP. Normal cells negative expression. Missense tyrosine kinase region detected one cases, case RON. Transcription observed MCC, considerable number expressed while do not express these molecules. results suggest seems to play at least some role pathogenesis
