摘要: Publisher Summary Interest in studying the effects of structural modification naturally occurring steroid hormones upon activity has been evident ever since elucidation structure sex early 1930s. Emphasis on this particular field research was result, first, a natural curiosity to determine chemical features essential for complex hormonal activities androgens, estrogens, and progestagens, and, secondly, very practical consideration obtaining more desirable agents at lower cost use both human veterinary medicine. Some considered purpose were, still are, peroral effectiveness, high potency, extended duration action, separation anabolic from androgenic gonadotropininhibiting estrogenic activity. It soon became that, with exception steroidal are highly specific their dependence structure, that only limited number variations would result retention any biological activity, not speak increases potency or physiological components involved.
