摘要: Hard turning with ceramic cutting tool has several benefits over grinding process such as elimination of coolant, reduced processing costs, improved material properties, power consumption and increased productivity. Despite its significant advantages, hard can not replace all due to lack data concerning surface quality wear hence there is a need study the machinability characteristics in high precision high-hardened components. An attempt been made this paper analyze effects depth cut machining time on aspects force, power, specific roughness using second order mathematical models during chromium AISI D2 cold work steel CC650, CC650WG GC6050WH inserts. The experiments were planned per full factorial design (FFD). From parametric analysis, it revealed that, wiper insert performs better reference wear, while CC650 conventional useful reducing force.
