摘要: CD5-positive follicular lymphoma (FL), although rare, has been described in a number of case reports. However, statistically valid, clinicopathological comparison between FL and CD5-negative never performed because its rarity. We compared characteristics 22 cases FL, diagnosed by immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry morphological findings, with those 62 without CD5 expression (control cases). patients showed higher tendency peripheral blood involvement (P = 0.076) frequency CD25 0.0004) MUM1 protein 0.0008), lower t(14;18)(q32;q21) 0.017). The overall survival (OS) curve was significantly worse than that control 0.0266), progression-free curves did not show significant difference 0.7899). Moreover, shown to be an independent poor prognostic factor for OS both univariate analysis [Hazard Ratio (HR), 3.63; P 0.0464] multivariate (HR, 57.16; 0.0001). different from lacking expression. These results suggest should considered type management conducted differently.
