摘要: The impact of ship emissions on marine boundary layer (MBL) NOx and SO2 levels over the Pacific Ocean has been explored by comparing predictions (with without ships) from a global chemical transport model (GCTM) against compiled airborne observations MBL SO2. For latitudes >15°N, which define that part having heaviest shipping, this analysis revealed significant prediction for modest under when were considered. Possible reasons difference in using full-chemistry box model. These results an actual plume setting lifetime could be greatly shortened processes promoted themselves. Similar behavior was not found
