摘要: Estrogen deficiency-induced osteoporosis typically occurs in postmenopausal women and has been strongly associated with periodontal diseases. Periodontal ligament stem cells (PDLSCs) isolated from the can differentiate into many types of specialized cells, including osteoblast-like that contribute to tissue repair. The Notch signaling pathway is highly conserved self-renewal potential cell-fate determination. Recently, several studies have focused on relationship between osteogenic differentiation. However, precise mechanisms underlying this are largely unknown. We successfully PDLSCs both ovariectomized (OVX) sham-operated rats. Both mRNA protein levels Notch1 Jagged1 were upregulated when cultured induction media. Mineralization assays showed decreased calcium deposits OVX-PDLSCs treated a γ-secretase inhibitor compared control cells. Thus important maintaining differentiation osteoporotic rats, which help development therapeutic strategy for disease women.
