摘要: Tissue specific mesenchymal stem cells are of great scientific interest across diverse fields in cell biology and medicine. Sources (MSC) the craniomaxillofacial skeleton numerous significant to craniofacial oral surgeons, among other medical dental specialties. Mesenchymal defined by their characteristic surface marker expression, multipotentiality ability for self-renewal. Bone marrow derived MSC (BMSC) most commonly studied, but low abundance (CMF) skeleton. Alternative CMF sources include pulpal (DPSC), periodontal ligament (PDLSC), suture-derived stromal (SMC), gingival (GMSC)and adipose-derived (ASC). This brief review will introduce various from head neck, along with a discussion identity, characteristics results preclinical studies tissue engineering.
