17β-estradiol regulates the differentiation of cementoblasts via Notch signaling cascade.

摘要: Estrogen has been well recognized as a key factor in the homeostasis of bone and periodontal tissue, but way it regulates activities cementoblasts, cell population maintaining cementum not fully understood. In this study, we examined expression estrogen receptor OCCM-30 cells effect 17β-estradiol (E2) on proliferation differentiation OCCM-30 cells. We found that both α β were expressed E2 exerted no significant influence OCCM-30 cells, inhibited transcription translation BSP Runx2 early phase osteogenic induction except mRNA. Afterwards late induction, enhanced promoted calcium deposition. addition, level Notch1, NICD Hey1 mRNAs responded to exogenous pattern similar osteoblastic markers. DAPT could attenuate These findings indicated might regulate cementoblasts via Notch signaling.
