摘要: Complex stability constants (KS), standard molar enthalpic changes (ΔH°), and entropic (TΔS°) for the inclusion complexations of native β-cyclodextrin (1) two oppositely charged β-cyclodextrins, i.e., mono(6-amino-6-deoxy)- (2) mono[6-O-6-(4-carboxylphenyl)]- (3), with (ferrocenylmethyl)dimethylaminium derivatives, FC4+Br- FC8+Br-, were determined at 25 °C in aqueous phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.20) by means isothermal titration microcalorimetry (ITC). Cyclic voltammetry studies showed that ferrocene groups guests included cavity to form host−guest complexes. As compared neutral β-cyclodextrin, positively host 2 decreased binding toward guests. This was attributed electrostatic repulsion, while negatively 3 displayed increased due attractions. Thermodynamically, ionization CDs affects both ...
