摘要: Handover has major implications for patient care. The handover process between ambulance and emergency department (ED) staff been sparsely investigated. purpose of this paper is, based on a literature review, to identify elaborate the factors influencing ED handover, bring suggestions how optimize process. A search handovers EDs was performed in PubMed, Embase, Web Science Cochrane databases. total 18 papers were included. Issues regarding transfer information are highlighted. Newer studies suggest that implementing structured format holds possibilities improving Electronic equipment could play part reducing problems. Cultural organizational impact different ways. professions perceive value quality given differently. Giving taking over responsibility is an important issue. patients potential be improved. issues lack professional recognition importance need approached. Multidisciplinary training combination with tool may have changing culture handover.
