摘要: Polycarbosilane (PCS) or silicon carbide (SiC) fillers were used as in fabricating partially interconnected, open-cell porous SiC ceramics by carbothermal reduction of polysiloxane-derived SiOC and subsequent sintering process. The effects filler type (PCS SiC), content (0–50 mass %) temperature (1800–1950°C) on microstructure, porosity, strength the investigated. spherical pore morphology was retained with addition, while irregular cells dominant PCS addition after at low temperatures. became mostly grain changed from a mixture small, equi-axed grains large faceted to increase 1800 1950°C.
