摘要: Precursors for silicon carbide nano particles were prepared from carbon black and polymethylsilsesquioxane (PMSQ). Ceramization process of PMSQ was characterized as preliminary information. The 29Si NMR study indicated the existence SiC3O (or SiC4) environment even at 1073 K. chemical composition pyrolyzed SiO1.5C0.68. Carbon (CB) dispersed in a benzene solution mixture freeze-dried to obtain precursor powders. powders hot pressed 573 K making contacts between CB PMSQ. cured sheets crushed heat-treated 1838 an inert atmosphere synthesize SiC with carbothermal reduction process. conversion CB-PMSQ hybrids monitored by thermogravimetric analysis. influence size content blacks on rates resulting particle morphology investigated.
