摘要: Manuka honey and newly developed honeys (arjuna, guggul, jiaogulan olive) were examined for their physicochemical, biochemical properties effects on oxidative stress cholesterol homeostasis in fatty acid-induced HepG2 cells. The exhibited standard moisture content ( 60%), except olive (<60% total monosaccharides). They all expressed non-Newtonian behavior 05 typical regions of the FTIR spectra as those natural ones. Guggul arjuna, manuka showed highest phenolic contents, correlating with significant antioxidant activities. Arjuna, guggul demonstrated agreement reduction transcriptional levels AMPK, SREBP2, HCMGR, LDLR, LXRα. Jiaogulan least activity, but it was most cytotoxic. Both modulated tested gene pattern that should lead to a lower TC content, this did not occur after 24 h. All 2% concentrations elicited clearer effect NQO1 expression. In conclusion, new complied international norms we provide partial evidence protective manuka, arjuna amongst ones key biomarkers homeostasis, pending further studies better understand modes action.
