摘要: We performed this study to evaluate the effects of changing level nitric oxide (NO) on disruption blood-brain barrier (BBB) by hyperosmolar mannitol. Under isoflurane anesthesia, control rats (control group, n = 6) were given infusions with 25% mannitol into internal carotid artery before measuring transfer coefficient (Ki) 14C-alpha-aminoisobutyric acid (14C-AIB). In CAS group (n 6), [3-(cis-2,6-dimethyl piperidino)-sydnonimine] (CAS 754), a NO donor, was injected decrease mean arterial pressure (MAP) 55 mm Hg and in L-NAME NG-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester (L-NAME), synthase inhibitor, administering additional animals + P 754-treated phenylephrine infused keep MAP at 130 during experimental period. injection, Ki ipsilateral cortex (IC) where increased 4.3 times that contralateral (CC) (17.2 +/- 2.9 vs 4.0 2.6 microliters.g-1.min.1). Without blood control, IC (7.0 4.5) lower (26.2 12.7) higher than animals. At same MAP, (9.6 3.1) significantly (21.3 14.5) or group. There no significant difference between groups. conclusion, worsened BBB induced solution, which may be due effect L-NAME. 754 effective attenuating caused This is apparently not decreased MAP.
