摘要: Previous studies on lymphomas suggested that the long arm of chromosome 6 harbors 1 or more tumor suppressor genes. This study analyzed status 25 microsatellite markers in 39 cases, including 9 nodal and 30 extranodal, non-Hodgkin lymphomas. Thirty cases (77%) showed abnormality at least markers. Of 655 informative results, 135 (20%) were abnormal. These included 5 homozygous deletions, 91 allelic imbalances (AI), 38 instability. The 2 commonest regions mapped to 6q14.1 6q27. There was no significant difference frequency these regional losses between extranodal lymphomas, B-or T-cell lineage, association with Epstein-Barr virus. first common deletion region is flanked by HTR1B (5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 1B) gene proximally a novel unknown gene. AI found associated loss expression RT-PCR. 6q27 narrowed approximately 3Mb maximal marker D6S386. locus includes recently identified SMOC2 (secreted modular calcium-binding protein 2), AF6, DLL1 (human delta-like protein) RT-PCR analyses AF6 poor correlation results.
