摘要: Measles virus (MV) and canine distemper (CDV) are morbilliviruses that cause acute illnesses several persistent central nervous system infections in humans dogs, respectively. Characteristically, the cytopathic effect of these viruses is formation syncytia permissive cells. In this study, a vaccinia expression was used to express MV CDV hemagglutinin (HA) fusion (F) envelope proteins. We found cotransfecting F HA genes or resulted extensive syncytium cells while transfecting either alone did not. Similar experiments with heterologous pairs proteins, CDV-F MV-HA MV-F CDV-HA, caused significant cell both cases. These results indicate system, requires HA; however, functions proteins interchangeable between two types morbilliviruses.
