摘要: Regular exercise and physical activity (PA) are known to be protective factors for maintaining bone mineral density (BMD) preventing osteoporotic fracture. We investigated the associations between leisure-time PA BMD in 2,903 premenopausal 2,267 postmenopausal women Korea. BMDs of lumbar spine femur were measured using dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry. Leisure-time levels assessed by a self-administrated questionnaire, total metabolic equivalent (MET) score was obtained. Regardless menopausal status, performing more than moderate or MET had significant positive association with at both femur. In group, whose 1,050–1,500 (MET-min/week) appeared have highest femoral (p < 0.001). The level also shown group addition, we found dose–response relationships increasing groups. Our results indicate that plays role BMD.
