摘要: Abstract Silicon detectors have risen to a predominant role in high energy physics experiments since their introduction just over thirty years ago. Their outstanding capabilities of resolution, low mass and fast response ionising radiation given silicon the device choice for inner regions collider experiments. evolution has been notable, it is possibly accelerating present times with impulse coming from stringent requirements future developments microelectronics industry. Recent advancements are reviewed reported perspective challenges.
