摘要: Abstract The literature on eco-innovation provides extensive contributions for the achievement of long-term sustainability, which implies an urgent need holistic changes around business processes. In this sense, several models have been proposed in order to help companies achieve greater understanding dynamics or even structure and facilitate integration sustainable processes within them. These may be classified into different ways, because they not always same approach common language, terms applicability purpose. Classification is essential tool diffusion field knowledge a higher maturity level concept eco-innovation. Through systematic review models, study aims present gaps opportunities advancement field, outlining promising directions regarding potential research areas, contents predominant characteristics new models. This paper has developed upon analytical framework explore diversity eco-innovations suggestions according classification criteria (research area, model approach, characterization, application sectors, generalization level, among others). general, that analysed reveal predominance generic descriptive characteristics. Moreover, there gap related organizational structural factors social aspects sustainability. Opportunities normative can highlighted, such as methods, tools adapted systems industrial segments. Therefore, still offers broad possibilities
