摘要: Cervical lymphadenopathy is a relatively common finding in pediatric age group and caused by wide spectrum of diseases from transient infections to malignancies especially lymphomas. The present study was aimed at evaluating the diagnostic performance grey-scale ultrasonography, color Doppler ultrasonography power differentiation reactively metastatically enlarged cervical lymph nodes group. Fifty children with lymphadenopathies were assessed ultrasonographic methods. In each patient, longest (L) transverse (T) diameters, L/T ratio presence or absence normal hilar pattern checked ultrasonography. Spectral parameters (resistive pulsatility indices) vascular distribution recorded respectively. Following evaluations, biopsy and/or clinical follow up applied for six months, based on paraclinical findings. Statistical analyses performed chi-square test, independent t-test receiver operator characteristic curves. mean patients 12.42 +/- 2.42 years. Twenty eight (56%) had malignant enlargement nodes. value 1.70 0.22 2.40 0.38 non-malignant (p < 0.001). Sensitivity, specificity accuracy combined 70, 86 81%, Combination recommended between benign children. Moreover, our findings revealed no role selection
