摘要: beta-Neuregulin (betaNRG) is a potent Schwann cell survival factor that binds to and activates heterodimeric ErbB2/ErbB3 receptor complex. We found NRG signaling rapidly activated phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) in serum-starved cells, while PI3K inhibitors markedly exacerbated apoptosis completely blocked NRG-mediated rescue. also signaled the phosphorylation of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) serine/threonine Akt. The activation Akt MAPK parallel pathways downstream from resulted Bad at different serine residues. rescue Akt, MAPK, Bad. However, selective inhibition MEK-dependent had no effect on survival. Conversely, ectopic expression wild-type not only enhanced but autocrine- Taken together, these results demonstrate through PI3K/Akt/Bad pathway functions
