摘要: OBJECTIVE: To verify the efficacy of dexamethasone in prophylaxis nausea and vomiting Laparoscopic cholecystectomy patients submitted to laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Cholelithiasis METHODS: This was a systematic review literature through MEDLINE, Embase, Dexamethasone LILACS databases. Only controlled randomized clinical trials comparing Postoperative placebo were included. RESULTS: The results this based on data from 12 trials, totaling 947 patients. group who received preoperative showed lower incidence (number needed treat [NNT] = 7), (NNT need for smaller doses rescue antiemetics 6). CONCLUSION: infusion 8 mg decreases risk complications postoperative period
