摘要: The content of capsaicinoids differs widely in fruits an individual plant. This is shown for Capsicum annuum var. Cayenne and DeArbol frutescens Hot Siberian, respectively. Three age groups, (i) very young, (ii) medium age, (iii) older fruits, were studied. A consistent dependence on the node position plant fruit weight capsaicinoid was not observed. These traits do develop concomitantly are influenced differently by environmental factors. Therefore, expression as per leads to a different conclusion than comparison concentration values (mg/kg). exemplified C. Siberian grown two consecutive years with lower but same accumulation second year. Higher pungency (expressed mg/kg) would have been result from analysis bulked material. fatty acid pattern uniform all one plant, irrespective large variation total content.
