摘要: The elements present in the fungal structures produced by Piedraia hortae vivo and vitro have been investigated using electron microscopy X-ray microanalysis. Phosphorus, sulphur calcium were detected nodules which developed on hair colonies culture. These belong to extracellular material that compacts pseudoparenchymatous organization of fungus. They may be due capacity melanin-like pigments sequester ions and/or they form part sulphates phosphates polyanionic mucopolysaccharides constitute material. Environmental contaminants such as aluminium, silicon iron exclusively surface nodule. deposited or linked residual molecules during breakdown cuticular keratin. advantages these techniques for elucidating chemical nature are discussed.
