摘要: Primatology in Brazil is a relatively recent research field zoology, mainly the Southern region. In state of Parana, despite some isolated efforts, little known about primate distribution and occurrence. The goal this work to concentrate all available information on registers verify their state. Scientific collections at MHNCI, MZPUCPR, MZUEL, MZUEM, MZUSP were consulted, as well literature registers, personal observations authors communication from other researchers considered. A total 154 examined, which 107 obtained observation, communication, or literature, 47 specimens deposited scientific collection. Seven taxa primates registered: Cebus nigritus, Alouatta guariba clamitans, A. caraya, Brachyteles arachnoides, Leontopithecus caissara, Callithrix jacchus, C. penicillata, last two associated human introductions. nigritus are distributed coastal planes up extreme west north south. caraya restricted western region state, with gallery forests Parana river its tributaries. location, these congeners species can occur sympatry.
