All solid-state electric double-layer capacitors based on alkaline polyvinyl alcohol polymer electrolytes

摘要: Abstract Solid-state electrochemical double-layer capacitors (ELDCs) based on alkaline polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) are prepared. Electrochemical capacitance performance of these is studied by cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic charge–discharge testing, and ac impedance spectroscopy. For comparison, two types EDLC cells constructed tested. It found that an with a PVA electrolyte exhibits much higher longer cycle-life than one the PP/PE separator. The specific for PVA-based SPE in range 100–112 F g−1, depends scan rate or current rates. results also indicate solid-state shows relatively stable 100 F g−1 after 1000 cycles. findings suggest promising material use EDLCs.
