A new class of PEO-based SPEs: structure, conductivity and application to alkaline secondary batteries

摘要: Abstract A new family of PEO-based SPEs containing potassium hydroxide and water was thoroughly investigated in order to better understand the structure these materials relate it with interesting conducting properties observed (ionic conductivity at room temperature between 5.10−4 S/cm and10−3 S/cm). Several techniques were used, including DSC, TGA, X-ray diffraction optical microscopy. This study revealed presence a crystalline complex depending on composition SPEs. Despite great difficulties performing ac impedance technique our systems, vs from approximately 100°C. The application nickel secondary batteries (Ni/Cd Ni/Zn) also studied. Some results terms cyclability improvement behaviour zinc electrode are presented.
