摘要: BACKGROUND The efficacy of combining psychotherapy and benzodiazepines for panic disorder is unclear, despite widespread use. OBJECTIVES To examine the combination compared with either treatment alone. SEARCH STRATEGY Randomised trials comparing benzodiazepine therapy alone were identified. Cochrane Depression, Anxiety Neurosis Group Studies References Registers searched. relevant other reviews checked. Experts in field contacted. Additional unpublished data sought from authors original trials. SELECTION CRITERIA Two independently checked records retrieved by searches to identify randomised combined versus monotherapies, among adults disorder. DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS eligibility, assessed quality extracted eligible using a standardised extraction form. primary outcome was "response" based on global judgement.
