摘要: Abstract Polyethylene terephtalat (PET) foils were irradiated by 246 MeV Kr and 595 Xe ions the samples studied wide angle X-ray diffraction. A simple exponential law describes variation of integral intensity I int with fluence. By applying Poisson 12.3 nm 16 deduced for mean diameters tracks induced ions, respectively. We did not observe considerable beam heating effect. The analysis irradiation experiments on polyvinylidene fluoride PET shows that predictions thermal spike model Szenes are in quantitative agreement experimental results.
